Miguel, and his twin brother Mario, have been at Magnolia Parkway since pre-k. Miguel has developed into a conscientious, reliable, and exceptional student. He is a quiet role model who can be relied upon to follow directions. His positive attitude has been a great help to those around him. He is self motivated and completes his assigned tasks with accuracy.

Miguel is a joy to have in class. He is a member of the Chess club, the Scrabble club and the Gifted and Talented program. He was the winner of our school wide Spelling Bee contest on January 9. Mrs. Murphy, his 3rd grade teacher says, “He is so deserving of this acknowledgement. He is one of the hardest working students I have had the pleasure to teach.” Mrs. Jebousek, his 5th grade ELA teacher says, “You can usually find him reading a book as he is an avid reader.” Ms. Lawrence, his 5th grade math teacher says, “Math challenges motivate Miguel, and his interest in class activities and math games is reflected by his frequent and active participation in the classroom. He is achieving his math goals with a high degree of success.” Miguel’s favorite subject is math and loves to explore new things at school. Miguel works hard to achieve high results. His future is very bright and he plans on being an engineer.

Magnolia 6th Grade is pleased to recognize Sasha Perez as the January student of the month. She is the daughter of Sandra and David Perez and is the oldest of three girls.
