New Principal Announced for Nichols Sawmill Elementary

She began her educational career in 1992 teaching 2nd grade and coaching junior high girls’ volleyball in Nashville, TN.  Moving back to Texas in 1994, she taught elementary for five years in Conroe ISD and six years in Tomball ISD.  During her teaching career in Conroe and Tomball, she was recognized as “Teacher of the Year” three different times.  In 2012, Mrs. Quinn joined Magnolia ISD teaching 3rd grade at Nichols Sawmill Elementary. In 2013, she was selected as assistant principal at Nichols Sawmill Elementary.

Mrs. Quinn holds a Bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University and a Master’s of Administration from Lamar University.
 
Carrie is married with two sons. She and her husband enjoy watching their high school boys play football and basketball. They also enjoy outdoor activities including hunting and fishing and traveling around the great state of Texas.

Carrie is following Erin Vance as Principal at Nichols Sawmill Elementary. Mrs. Vance has accepted a position with the district curriculum office.
