While DECA’s main mission is to ready young adults and entrepreneurs for the world of business, they wanted to give back this holiday season when they heard of Arrow’s dire need for winter clothing. The donation drive called for the giving of winter clothes including: jeans, long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, jackets, and even suits for those currently searching for employment. In total, the school gathered over 1,050 articles of winter clothing.
Arrow Ministries participates in the fostering and adopting of children, and the safeguarding and rescuing of those involved in the sex trafficking. They also offer family services, educational programs, and residential placement services. The clothes gathered will ensure that children and adults involved in Arrow Ministry will stay warm through the winter. DECA sponsor, Calynn Perkins, would like to thank all of the student body and faculty for participating in the drive, allowing it to be such an astonishing success. The DECA organization hopes to continue reaching out and serving the community in any way possible.
