MW Teacher Selected to Participate in Texas A&M University Regional Collaborative for Computer Science

The regional program began this month and is scheduled to meet each month. The group will conclude the program in June with a Computer Science Summit in Austin and AP Computer Science workshop held at Texas A&M.

Ms. Berg has a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and has been teaching career and technology courses since 2008. Before she decided to become a high school teacher, she worked at a large national law firm, where she was a trial attorney who assisted commercial clients with a variety of business problems. Prior to law school, she obtained a business degree from the University of Houston, and majored in finance. Her broad business background includes work in a variety of industries, including insurance, banking, and commercial real estate development.

Ms. Berg is able to use her education and experience to infuse the curriculum with real life examples that will help all students prepare for life after high school.
