Magnolia Education Foundation Hosts Sporting Clay Shoot in April

Cody Barker, a Foundation board member and chair of the committee says, “The Foundation was interested in bringing the enjoyment of hunting and shooting through a different kind of fundraiser. This is a great opportunity to network, promote your business and support the Magnolia community.”

The fundraiser is a non-profit event with all the proceeds supporting the Foundation’s mission of teacher grants benefiting the teachers and students of Magnolia ISD. The tournament is four-person teams with the cost per player $150. Tournament sponsorships are still available for $250 which includes a company signage posted at the stations and media promotion.

Formed in 2001, MEF was founded to provide “tools for learning” and funds programs outside of the District budget to support excellence in education. MEF’s mission is to achieve academic excellence by developing financial resources though community involvement.
