PSAT/NMSQT & PSAT 10
Our 10th graders in MISD have the opportunity to take the PSAT 10 at school in the Spring on a testing day determined by the campus within the guidelines of College Board. This helps to prepare the students for taking the SAT in the future; however the PSAT 10 is appropriate for their grade level. The report will help students know what areas they are on track for college and what areas they need to focus on as they start to prepare for their future. Students who score in the 90th percentile as a sophomore will have the opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT their junior year.
PSAT/NMSQT is conducted at school on a testing day in the Fall determined by the College Board. This assessment helps to identify potential National Merit Scholars. To learn more about the National Merit Scholarship Program, go to http://www.nationalmerit.org.
