Irma Dunmire

Irma Dunmire has served as the Attendance Officer for Magnolia ISD (West Side) since 2015 and covers the following campuses: J. L. Lyon Elementary, Nichol Sawmill Elementary, Magnolia Elementary, Williams Elementary, 6th Grade Campus, Magnolia Junior High and Magnolia West High School.

Mrs. Dunmire was raised in Magnolia, Texas and is a 2000 graduate from Magnolia High School. After High School she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix in Yuma, Arizona. She is currently enrolled at Sam Houston State University and starting her second year in the Master of Public Administration program. Prior to working at Magnolia ISD, Mrs. Dunmire was a Juvenile Probation Officer for Montgomery County for 5 years. She has also served as Youth Coordinator for her church for the last 6 years.

Mrs. Dunmire has enjoyed working with at-risk students and believes it is a great opportunity to not only help student’s make positive decisions, like attend school each and every day, but to be able to do that in the community she loves and grew up in. Her hope is to increase student attendance and for each student to graduate.
