I have been working with youth since 2009 when I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology. My career started by working as direct-care staff at a residential placement facility for post-adjudicated youth. After two and a half years there, I was employed as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Montgomery County for several years before coming to Magnolia ISD. In 2015 I graduated (again) from Sam Houston State University with a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management.
I believe education never ends, and am consistently looking for various ways to better myself in order to better serve our students. Students are our future, and given the support and knowledge to make wise decisions, can achieve wonders.
