The Bear Branch WeatherBug Station sits on top of the school building where it has total access to all weather related events. It measures rain fall, humidity, barometric pressure, temperature, wind speed and direction, and dew point. It is also connected to the Internet through MISD's network so that it can broadcast its data to WeatherBug, a weather service with stations located all over the world.   The reading station for the WeatherBug equipment is located in the science lab.

Bear Branch Elementary would like to thank the MISD Maintenance and Technology Departments for installing and testing the equipment.
