The Conroe Pan American Round Table Scholarship ($1,000)

The Cypress Woodlands Junior Forum ($1,000)

Criteria: Graduating female student. Complete the application on the computer and print complete form out to bring to Mrs. Everett. Selected students will be interviewed in late January. Two MWHS students received this scholarship last year.
The Woodlands Pavilion Partners Scholarship ($1,500-$5,000)

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo ($18,000)

Criteria: Academic standing (top 1/4 of graduating class) minimum and SAT of 1350 or ACT of 19. Complete guidelines can be found here . You do not have to have competed in the rodeo to apply. For FAFSA information (if completing before Jan. 1st) enter "n/a". You will mail in your FAFSA information after completing in January and mail in with your supplemental forms. Two MWHS students received this scholarship last year.
Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center ($1,000)

Criteria: Must have a a minimum of a 2.5/4.0 GPA.
Montgomery County Fair Association ($1,000-$2,500)

Criteria: Academic standing (top 1/4 of graduating class) minimum SAT(900) or ACT(20). Unrestricted major field. Attend college or university - Must graduate high school at end of spring semester of award or be a midterm graduate at the time of application. Leadership - Citizenship - Activities (Participation in 4-H or FFA is not a requirement)
Montgomery County Bar Association ($1,000)
Due March 14 2014 (Application in attachment section)
Criteria: Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of scholastic achievement, school activities, and community service. In addition, consideration will be given to the applicant's need for financial assistance and family circumstances. Information relevant to need factors should be specific. For the application, please see the attachment section at the bottom.
Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. Scholarship Foundation ($10,000)
Due March 17 2014 TO MRS. EVERETT (Application in attachment section)
The Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. Scholarship Foundation will award $10,000 scholarships to African-American, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American students from the greater Houston area high schools. These seniors must be interested in a career in law, be in the top 20% standing in their class with a minimum combined SAT score of 1650, and demonstrate a financial need to attend college.
