National Merit Students Recognized

At Monday night's Board meeting, National Merit students from Magnolia West High School and Magnolia High were recognized. Commended students are considered to be the top 3% in the nation. The National Hispanic Recognition Program was initiated in 1983 to identify outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students. Each year the program recognizes the students who scored in the top 3% of all Hispanic/Latino students who took the Preliminary SAT (PSAT).
