Krusleski has over 20 years of management experience in the information technology field with the majority of his experience in education. For the past nine years, he has worked at Montgomery ISD managing an annual $1 million operating budget and $7 million bond budget.
His responsibilities included managing a team of 19 full and part-time employees; supervised the E-Rate program to ensure the district received the maximum amount; and developed privacy and security policies to meet local, state and federal requirements.
Krusleski was able to implement an internship program with the department giving students an opportunity to learn the skills they will need in a competitive workforce ranging from proper greetings to communication, team collaboration and higher-level problem-solving skills.
“I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to become a part of the MISD family. I look forward to working with our staff and community in ensuring every child achieves their full potential as we help them prepare for their lives after graduation,” stated Krusleski.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Texas A&M Commerce. He also has industry certifications including an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Southern Methodist University.
Jerry and his wife are long-time residents of Magnolia and have a son who is a Magnolia High School graduate. They are active members in the community working to raise student scholarships at both the Montgomery County Fair Association and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
