Magnolia ISD held its 16th annual Science Fair on Saturday, January 11 at the Magnolia Event Center for the district intermediate and junior high school students. The students spend a considerable amount of time working on their projects and it is amazing to see what they have accomplished.
For the sixth year, Glenn and Lorie Addison of Magnolia Funeral Home have donated funds to award this year’s winners with their own Chromebooks. Thank you to the Addison’s for their continued support! Typically, we honor all of these students during the May Board meeting but due to the pandemic, we are unable to do so.
Volunteering to judge this year’s projects included representatives from City of Tomball, ExxonMobil, Gunda Corporation, Lone Star College -Montgomery, Walgreens, University of Texas, Trinity University, Magnolia ISD, National Oilwell Varco, Halliburton, Ring Exploration, Texas A&M University Nuclear Engineering, students from Texas A&M Galveston, and several retired engineers.
