USDA has extended waivers that allow Magnolia ISD to offer meals at no charge to students through December 31, 2020.
ALL Magnolia ISD students attending On-Campus Learning will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost beginning September 8. Free meals for all students will continue through December 31 or pending available funds through USDA.
Once this waiver expires, we will switch back to the School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Free and reduced meal applications must still be submitted for the 2020-2021 school year to determine benefits after the waiver ends. Visit www.heartlandapps.com to apply online.
Free curbside meals are available to students participating in Virtual Learning and children 18 and under. Curbside meals include breakfast and lunch and can be picked up between 9 a.m. and noon daily at the following campuses:
- Magnolia Elementary
- Lyon Elementary
- Smith Elementary
- Williams Elementary
- Magnolia Intermediate
Parents must provide documentation showing the child is enrolled in Magnolia ISD. The following types of ID are acceptable:
- Student ID issued by the district
- a schedule or correspondence from the school with student ID number on it
If the child is not enrolled in Magnolia ISD, the parent must present a birth certificate for each child not enrolled in school.
Parents may add funds to their student's meal account for al la carte purchases and in preparation for when the waiver ends. You may use the online payment method through My SchoolBucks.
