New Administrators Announced

Magnolia West High School Principal 

Magnolia ISD has named Jason Morley as the Principal at Magnolia West High School. Morley has been an administrator at West for the past six years and most currently the Associate Principal.

Before joining Magnolia, Morley was the Athletics Director for four years and taught on-level and advanced English for 11 years in Waller ISD.  

“I have been blessed to serve Magnolia ISD for the past six years. I believe in this district and am proud of the small part I have played over the past years. The Magnolia West family has become a part of who I am, and I am excited to serve as the new principal,” shares Morley.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University. 

Magnolia West Associate Principal

Nicole Fielder has been named the new Associate Principal at Magnolia West. She has been an Assistant Principal at West for the past three years and has been in education since 2005. 

Before going into administration, Ms. Fielder taught science and served as the department chair at West for six years. She has also taught at Cypress Ridge and Clear Lake High Schools. 


“I am excited to serve as the Associate Principal at Magnolia West.  Education is my passion, and I am committed to helping our students find academic success while also preparing them to be successful after high school. I look forward to continuing to be a part of the administrative team at West in this new role.”


Ms. Fielder holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.

Director of Student Services

Magnolia ISD has named Dr. Ben King to join the Department of Student Services as a director focused on secondary campuses. Dr. King’s educational career spans 13 years, 12 of which have been in Magnolia ISD. Most recently, he served as the principal of Magnolia West High School for the past three years.


His educational career includes principal at Bear Branch Junior High, teaching junior high, high school, and college-level English. He also served as the curriculum coordinator for English/Language Arts and Reading for grades 6-12, Academic Coordinator at Magnolia Junior High, and coached junior high boys basketball.

“It has been a privilege to work in Magnolia ISD for almost my entire career, and I will miss the students and staff at Magnolia West. But I’m excited to start in a new position and to work on the Student Services team, and I’m looking forward to working with our students, parents, and staff within the district,” shares Dr. King.


Dr. King holds a Bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University, a Master’s degree in English from Belmont University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.


Bear Branch Junior High Junior Assistant Principal

Magnolia ISD has named Patrick Hollier as the new Assistant Principal at Bear Branch Junior High. He has been the Assistant Principal at Humble High School for the past six years and has 14 years in administration.


Hollier has served as the Assistant Principal at Galena Park High School, Ross Sterling Middle School in Humble, and most recently at Humble High School. 

“My wife, an educator as well, and children are extremely excited to be joining the Magnolia ISD family and community. We have already met some fantastic people and have been treated very graciously. I was blessed to meet some of the staff at BBJH the other day. I am excited to be joining their team under the leadership of Ms. Julia Venghaus. We will have children at BBE, BBI, and MHS. Thank you all for the opportunity to live, work, and serve the community of Magnolia.” 


He holds a Bachelor’s degree from McNeese State University and a Master’s degree in Educational Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
