Magnolia ISD Receives $15,000 Grant for Campus Clinics

The grant allows the department to purchase larger ticket items generally not supported through an annual operating budget. Examples of items approved through the grant include an optic vision screener, blood pressure monitors, medical examination table, and medical carts.

“The Tomball Health Coalition is excited to provide funds that support the health and wellness of the Magnolia ISD students,” stated David McClinton, treasurer of Tomball Health Coalition. “Our goal is to provide the district with necessary medical equipment that will support the clinics so the nurses can continue to offer the best quality care for their students.”

The grant funds will benefit the health and wellness of all Magnolia ISD students. The Tomball Health Coalition is a charitable organization formed in January 2013 to promote the health and wellness in Magnolia, Tomball, Waller and surrounding area.
