Megan Baker Named Principal for Magnolia Parkway Elementary

"I'm honored to have been chosen to serve as the principal of Magnolia Parkway Elementary. I look forward to continuing the tradition of educating our children with an Open Mind, Open Heart, and Open Spirit. I'm excited for the opportunity to partner with such amazing staff and parents to ensure that every student reaches their emotional, social, and academic potential. I am blessed to have been given this responsibility and will use each day to make a difference in the lives of those that walk through the doors of MPES," stated Mrs. Baker.
Mrs. Baker has provided leadership at the campus since 2014 when she began her role in administration as the assistant principal. She has 15 years teaching experience and with a total of 18 years in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Sam Houston State University, and a Master’s in degree in Education from Lamar University.
Mrs. Baker has been married for 18 years and has a 13-year-old son entering 8th grade. They are active members of the community and attend The Montgomery United Methodist Church.
