Jason Hawkins Named Assistant Principal at Magnolia Junior High

“I am very excited about the opportunity to join Magnolia ISD. I look forward to meeting the students and staff of Magnolia Jr. High and being part of such a great community. My family and I are truly blessed to be moving to Magnolia and can’t wait to start this next chapter,” stated Mr. Hawkins.
 
He started his career in CFISD as a junior high Language Arts and History teacher. After five years of teaching, he then became the assistant principal at a junior high in CFISD and is currently serving in the same role at the high school. He has served in several leadership programs including the CFISD administrative two-year leadership program, and a mentor for new assistant principals in the district.
 
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M and a Masters of Education degree in administration from Lamar University.
 
Mr. Hawkins and his family are currently building a home in Magnolia and they are excited to be a part of the community. He and his wife, Krystina, have been married for 13 years and have two children, Kayla and Kody, ages 7 and 5.
