Section 403(b)

The 403(b) plan is a voluntary retirement savings plan that allows an employee to save money for retirement on a tax-deferred basis.  There are several different types of investments and a number of representatives who are available to assist employees in establishing a 403 (b) retirement plan.  You are welcome to set up an account through your own financial advisor or you may call JEM.

For a list of approved 403(b) vendors , you may call JEM at 1-800-943-9179.  The approved vendor list is also on the TRS website.

Once you have decided on an approved vendor, you will need to set up your payroll deduction amount through JEM.  You may do this online at or give them a call at 1-800-943-9179.
