Back to School 2020-2021

Magnolia ISD Back to SchoolThis is a rapidly changing and evolving situation with new guidance on a regular basis from Governor Abbott and the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The District understands that the details surrounding the return to school in August are of the utmost importance to its students, staff, families, and community. This information is subject to change as we receive additional guidance from TEA, the Governor, or state and local officials. Please stay tuned to our website for the most up-to-date information.

August 12 is the first day of school.

2020 - 2021 District School Year Calendar

Magnolia ISD will start school on August 12th as planned with all students receiving instruction online through Labor Day.

At this time, it is not necessary to enroll your student in a learning option.

During this postponement of on-campus, in-person learning, we are developing plans around a few areas that allow our staff and students to practice their personal safety protocols and procedures. Additionally, we are working on academic preparations as we plan to welcome students back to our campuses after Labor Day. Plans will be re-evaluated the week of Aug. 24 to make sure Sept. 8 is indeed a viable option for in-person instruction.
