Welcome to Magnolia ISD, where we value all aspects of a child's life including their childcare needs.

Our district offers a variety of childcare services for Magnolia ISD students including Early Morning Childcare, After School Adventures, Holiday Camps, Professional Development Day Camps, Summer Camp and Employee Daycare.

Each of these programs is designed to provide a fun and safe environment while keeping the bests interests of the child, parents, and family in mind. Each program has a separate enrollment process along with unique guidelines that cater to the program (including rates, staff-to-child ratios, hours, etc.)

The Office of Childcare Services will be closed the week of October 14th for Fall Break.
Our next Full-Day Camp will be held on November 4th & 5th for PD / Student Holiday. Please see Full Day Camps below for more information.

Childcare Programs Available

Early Morning Care

Eligibility & Ratios

Magnolia ISD’s Early Morning Care Program is an optional, supplemental program operating as a separate entity apart from the regular school day. Target goals for staff-to-student ratios will be 1:30.

Student Expectations

Staff will communicate and enforce clear and consistent behavior expectations aligned with your child’s campus. Routine discipline matters will be handled at each campus location by the Early Morning Care staff and parents will be informed accordingly. More severe or more persistent issues may result in the Early Morning Care leadership notifying campus or district administration. School and district administration will act according to the Magnolia ISD Student Code of Conduct and may include removing the student from the Early Morning Care Program for a period of time or even permanently.

Registration

The Early Morning Care Program is available for students at each of our elementary and intermediate campuses beginning at 6:30 a.m. on regular school days. The Early Morning Care Program is provided at no cost during the 2024-25 school year.

Drop off times:

Elementary campuses - 6:30 a.m. - 7:35 a.m.

*students who arrive after 7:35 a.m. must be dropped off in the car rider line

Intermediate campuses - 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m.

*students who arrive after 7:15 a.m. must be dropped off in the car rider line

After School

Days and Hours of Operation

The Adventures After School Program follows the same operating schedule as the Magnolia ISD school year calendar. Hours are from school dismissal until 6:30 pm.

Tuition Rates

Annual After School Registration Fee: $40 per child ($30 Reduced*)

Tuition for the After School Program is based by the week (Monday-Friday) and is due in advance.

"Full-Time" refers to a student attending 3+ days each week (Monday-Friday).
- Rate is $80 for 1st child; $60 for each additional child (*Reduced $50 for 1st child; $40 each additional child)
"As-Needed / Drop-In" refers to a student who only attends occasionally (less than 3 or more days each week). See the As-Needed Option below.

*Reduced Rate applies to MISD employees and families eligible for Reduced Lunch.

To apply: MISD Free / Reduced Lunch Application. Please send a copy of your approval letter from the Child Nutrition Department to adventuresprogram@magnoliaisd.org.

As-Needed / Drop-In Option

Annual Registration Fee: $40 per child (*Reduced: $30) due upon enrollment into the 2024-2025 After School Adventures Program.

After School care on an "As-Needed / Drop-In" basis is available for $30 (Reduced: $20*) per day, per child

*Reduced Rate applies to MISD employees and families eligible for Reduced Lunch.

To register your child for the Adventures After School Program, please follow these 2 steps:

1. Sign up with a new account here: NEW Enrollsy Account OR if you already have an Enrollsy account, please enroll your child here: Enrollsy Sign In and choose "+Enroll" at the top right corner.

2. Notify the staff at your child's school of the change in your kiddo's after-school plans.

If there is a pattern of attendance known in advance (every other week, one day each week, etc.), please enroll your child as a Drop-In for one day and then email adventuresprogram@magnoliaisd.org to help get a schedule and payment plan set up accordingly.

Payment Plans

The tuition cost to attend Full-time for all 2024-25 school days (which includes PD Days) is as follows:

$2,940 for 1st child; $2,220 for each additional child
(*Reduced: $1,840 for 1st child; $1,480 for each additional child)

It is the expectation that parents will make payment in advance by one of these methods:

Weekly, Bi-weekly or Monthly Payment Plan using auto draft
Direct pay with ACH / debit / credit card using Enrollsy Sign In or mobile app
In-person with a check or money order payable to MISD Adventures Program at your child's pick-up location.

PLEASE NOTE: Tuition is due in advance and does not vary by Payment Plan. If the 1st due date has already passed on the PAYMENT PLAN that you choose, tuition will be added to your account once enrollment is received and will be due at that time.

Welcome to the Adventures After School Program!

The Adventures After School is a fee-based program that provides a fun and educational environment where children are engaged and have a sense of belonging through adventurous and meaningful activities outside of school. The After School Program operates at each of the Magnolia ISD elementary campuses for students in grades pre-k through 6.

1. If my child was enrolled in the After School Program the previous year, do I need to enroll them again? Yes. Enrollment is needed for each of the Adventures Programs. A new Payment Plan is set up based on your child's attendance. Also, this allows us to get the most up-to-date information, including any new allergies, medications, authorized pick-ups, etc.

2. If my child is already enrolled for After School care, do I need to enroll them in Full-Day Camps? Yes. Enrollment is needed for each of our Full-Day Camps. This allows us to plan for the appropriate staffing and supplies.

3. If I am unsure of my schedule, how far in advance do I need to enroll for After School care? You can enroll your kiddo(s) in After School care as you need it. If you are looking to enroll your kiddo on an "as-needed" basis, the software will only allow you to enroll and pay for one day at a time. If you know your schedule in advance, once you have completed enrollment in at least one day, please send your ongoing schedule to adventuresprogram@magnoliaisd.org. We can then set up the enrollment and a payment plan accordingly.

4. If my child is in 5th / 6th grade, where do I enroll them for After School care? The After School Program is held at each of the elementary campuses. Students who attend any of the intermediate schools will need to be bussed to the elementary school in which they are zoned. An Alternate Transportation Route form will need to be completed and can be found here: Transportation Alternate Route Form. If you have questions regarding this form, please call Transportation at 281-252-2221.

Full Day Camps (PD & Holiday)

Welcome to the Adventures Program Full-Day Camps!

Space is limited in Full-Day Camps. Enrollment in Full-Day PD Days and Holiday Camps requires online registration before the Tuesday deadline for ALL students (even those enrolled Full-time in the After School Program).

The dates for which Adventures will provide Full-Day care for the 2024-25 school year are as follows:

September 16 PD Day (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Sept. 10)
Fall Break: October 7 - 11 (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Oct. 1)
November 4 & 5 PD Days (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Oct. 29)
Thanksgiving Camp: November 25 – 27 (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Nov. 19)
Winter Break -
- Week 1: December 26 & 27 (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Dec. 17)
- Week 2: January 2 & 3 (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Dec. 24)
- Week 3: January 6 & 7 (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Dec. 31)
January 6 & 7 PD Days (See Winter Break Camp, Week 3)
February 17 & 18 PD Days (Deadline to register / cancel is Tuesday, Feb. 11)

LOCATION AND TIMES

MISD Adventures will be providing care for MISD students in pre-k through 6th grade during Full Day Camps at BEAR BRANCH ELEMENTARY from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.

A SHUTTLE BUS will be provided to transport students from MAGNOLIA ELEMENTARY to Bear Branch Elementary for parents who would like to utilize this option. Drop-off times at Magnolia Elementary are between 6:30 am - 8:30 am and pick-up times are between 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm in the Cafeteria.

REGISTRATION

Advanced registration is required for all students who wish to attend Full-Day Camps (even students who attend Full-time in the After School Program).

Online enrollment in Full-Day Camps will secure your child’s spot. Credits / refunds for no-shows and late cancellations will be given when a doctor's note is provided. Enrollment / cancellations must be received by Tuesday, the week prior to when Camp is scheduled.

Here is how to register your child for Adventures Full-Day Camps:

If you already have an Enrollsy account, log in here: Enrollsy Sign In and choose "+Enroll" at the top right corner.
- When you get to "Location," choose: "FULL DAY CAMP."
Once the enrollment has been completed, a confirmation email will be sent.

For PD Days, if a student is enrolled full-time (3 or more days every week) in the After School Program, there is no additional charge for Professional Development Days**. When you get to the question "Eligible for Reduced Rate?" you will choose "NO CHARGE"

TUITION

Camps which run for 5 days per week are at the Weekly Rate: $150.00 Regular Rate ($110.00 Reduced*) with a 10% sibling discount.

Camps which run 3 days or less per week are at the Daily Rate: $40 (Reduced: $30*) per day per child.

If a student is enrolled full-time (3 or more days every week) in the After School Program, there is no additional charge for Professional Development Days; however, enrollment is still needed to help with planning for staffing and supplies.

Enrollment / cancellations must be received by Tuesday the week prior to when Camp is scheduled. Credits / refunds for no-shows and last minute cancellations will only be given with a doctor's note provided.

Summer Camp

Welcome to the Adventures Summer Camp Program!

MISD is offering a safe, fun, wholesome, and memorable Summer experience. MISD Adventures Summer Camp is open to MISD students ages 5-12. The program is led by MISD employees and/or teachers who are trained and attain the appropriate certifications for the programs assigned.

There is limited availability for SUMMER CAMP 2024!

Dates of Camp: June 3 - July 26

Enrollment occurs by the week; there is not a daily option. Space is limited and waitlists are made available when a certain week reaches full capacity. For any Summer Camp weeks that are full, you can enroll in the Waitlist for that week. Parents will then be contacted when space becomes available.

The deadline to pay OR cancel is each Tuesday - the week prior to scheduled attendance. To cancel, please send an email to adenturesprogram@magnoliaisd.org. Credits / refunds for no shows or last minute cancellations will only be given with a doctor's note.

Waitlist / Payment

Tuition gets posted on Monday, the week before Campers are enrolled to attend. Auto pay will draft each Tuesday which will then secure Camper's spot for the following week.

Payment can be made and autopay can be set up by accessing your account here: Enrollsy Sign In or by using the Enrollsy app on your phone. Any accounts that are unpaid by end of day Tuesday - the week prior to Camp starting - will result in the student being unenrolled for the following week and space will then be made available for those on the waitlist.

1. Is there a daily option for Summer Camp? Due to the number of Campers that we have attending Summer Camp and to help us with planning for field trips, supplies and staffing, enrollment and tuition is by the week only; there is not a daily option for Summer Camp.

2. Can I get a refund for my child not attending Camp? Credits / refunds for no shows or last minute cancellations will only be given with a doctor's note.

3. How do I cancel for a week in which my student is enrolled? Please send an email to adenturesprogram@magnoliaisd.org no later than the end of day Tuesday - the week before Camp starts.
