TPIA, Section 552.275 authorizes a governmental body to establish a reasonable limit on the amount of time that personnel of the governmental body are required to spend producing public information for inspection or duplication by a requester, or providing copies of public information to a requester, without recovering its costs attributable to that personnel time. Magnolia ISD has established 36 hours as the reasonable limit on the amount of time District personnel collectively spend producing public information for a requester during the District's fiscal year or 15 hours of time during a one-month period. This 12 month period coincides with the District's fiscal year. The District shall charge the requester for any additional personnel time and/or materials spent producing information for the requester, in accordance with the law.
