This fall, 36 parents were nominated to participate in the Magnolia ISD Superintendent Parent Leadership Committee. The parents were honored during the December board meeting for their commitment to learning more about the fundamental workings of the district and public school finance.

Superintendent Dr. Bullock expressed his gratitude, stating, “We appreciate the commitment of these parents to become an active part of the Magnolia school community. This type of parent participation makes our district exceptional and is one of the many ways we are dedicated to being the best in Texas.”

The program, which began in 2011, invites parents of students in the district to take part in a unique, interactive learning experience. Nominated by campus staff, participants get a closer look at how the district operates, meeting the individuals responsible for various programs and services. They also gain insight into how Magnolia ISD fosters an environment that supports success for its expanding student body.
