The season began with 400 schools, 3,800 anglers from 9 divisions competing in five regular-season tournaments on lakes all over Texas. Both high school teams then earned spots in the regional tournament and were top teams that advanced to the State tournament.

Cole Divin & Hunter Matthews (placed 13th at the State tournament);
Williams Bates & Kole Weir (placed 12th at the State tournament)

The Magnolia West teams include:
Stran Stevens & Brooks Leonard (placed 1 at the State tournament);
