On August 15, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) released district and campus ratings for the 2024-25 school year. Magnolia ISD received an overall “B” rating or an 86 under the state’s A-F accountability system, reflecting strong academic performance across the district. 

Of the district’s 16 campuses:

• 7 earned an “A” rating
• 7 earned a “B” rating
• 2 earned a “C” rating

Out of 60 STAAR data points, Magnolia ISD outperformed the state in 58 areas. This is an increase in two tested areas compared to 2024. The one area where the district fell slightly behind was Algebra I. This is largely due to the district’s structure, in which advanced math students take Algebra I in 8th grade, slightly impacting performance metrics.

Overall, Magnolia ISD students significantly outperformed the state average on assessments, highlighting the quality of instruction and academic support provided across the district.
