The Magnolia ISD Business & Finance Department has been awarded the Excellence in Procurement award, the first of its kind from Bonfire, a business leader in strategic sourcing and procurement software. 

The inaugural Bonfire Procurement Award recognizes and celebrates the professionals and teams who have made a significant impact through excellence in strategic sourcing. Recognized is MISD Director of Purchasing, Adam Stearns who was selected for his demonstrated success in public procurement, and dedication to the agency and constituents he serves.

"Thanks to Adam's creative vision, expansive knowledge base, and dedication to continual improvement, the purchasing and procurement department has become an overwhelming success saving our school district millions of dollars and creating multiple layers of protection for the district," said Dr. Erich Morris, MISD Assistant Superintendent of Operations.
