To honor the lifetime dedication, immense generosity, and unwavering support Tony and Dolly Gullo poured into the Magnolia ISD agricultural community and our local youth, the Magnolia ISD Board of Trustees approved naming the show barn in their honor. The district show barn is now the Tony & Dolly Gullo Magnolia ISD Livestock Show Barn, reflecting the community's heartfelt gratitude.

Longtime residents and pillars of Montgomery County business, the Gullos dedicated their lives to ensuring Magnolia students had every opportunity to succeed. Dolly moved to Magnolia when she was seven years old and graduated as the Valedictorian of Magnolia High School in 1948. After graduating from college, she returned to her roots and taught at Magnolia Elementary for ten years. Together with her husband Tony, a prominent local businessman, the couple became a driving force of compassion, community development, and philanthropy across Montgomery County.

For decades, the Gullos were the heart and soul of the Magnolia FFA Ag Program. They never missed a single live auction at the annual Ag Show. Year after year, they donated thousands of dollars directly to students who had invested months of hard work into raising animals, ensuring that every participant’s efforts were recognized and rewarded. No matter how busy their businesses or personal lives became, Tony and Dolly always prioritized giving back to the students of this community.

While the Magnolia community deeply mourns the loss of Dolly in 2025 at the age of 94, andTony in 2024 at the age of 90, their incredible legacy of service remains vibrant. Their heart for community lives on through their children, grandchildren, and extended family, who continue to carry the torch of Gullo family generosity forward.

Officially renaming the district show barn to honor Tony and Dolly Gullo signifies Magnolia ISD's deep appreciation for their decades of hard work, their transformative vision, and their unconditional love for our students. This naming will ensure future generations of FFA students entering the show barn remember the extraordinary standard of community service and dedication set by the Gullo family.
