Transportation Information
Bus routes for the 2023 - 2024 school year will be available on August 2.
You can view your child's bus routes through the Versatrans e-Link system. Click here for instructions.
Additionally, you can download the MyStop mobile app which will allow parents to track their student's bus locations and arrival times, as well as receive notifications on delays. Parents can use a mobile device, tablet, or desktop to view this information. You can find the app in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store.
Once you download the app, parents will need to select Magnolia ISD. Username is the student ID and the password is the student's birthday with the four-digit year (ex: October 1, 2005 - 10012005). The app will group all of the parent's children together. At the top of the screen next to the student's name is a drop-down arrow that will give a list of all children in that family.
You can find more information including how to find your bus route, request bus changes, and more by clicking here.
Child Nutrition
A variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet health and nutrition needs are offered for breakfast and lunch daily.
Applications for free and reduced-priced meals will be available online beginning August 1. You can also visit the Child Nutrition Office at 110 South Magnolia Blvd. Suite 300 or your child's campus to complete an application.
A la carte items and snacks are also available to students as well as gourmet items. Parents are encouraged to create a mySchoolBucks account to pre-pay for their child's meals, snacks, and a la carte items. Prepaying for meals helps the lunch lines move faster and gives the students more time to eat and relax.

Student Insurance
Sports/UIL Insurance: District Sponsored:
Magnolia ISD, through the Risk Management department, has purchased Accidental Bodily Injury Insurance for all students, grades 7 - 12, who participate in school-sponsored UIL events and activities. This includes district travel to and from the event.
If a student is injured while participating in a school-sponsored UIL activity, a claim form will be completed by the Athletic Trainer and given to the student’s parents or guardian. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to complete their portion of the claim form and follow directions on how to submit the form and any supporting documentation to the insurance company.
These accidental student insurance policies are designed to act as supplemental (secondary) coverage on top of the individual’s primary health insurance coverage; however, it can be used as primary coverage for accidents if the student does not have insurance. Also, if the student is covered under Medicaid or CHIPs, then the Texas Kids First plan will act as primary accident insurance. The plan will only pay within the limits of the policy, which could be a portion of the medical expenses. This district-purchased plan also provides catastrophic insurance coverage for injuries that exceed $25,000 in medical costs.
Voluntary Accident-Only Insurance for Students: Available for Purchase:
Any parent or guardian can also purchase any of the Texas Kids First Insurance plans for their student(s), regardless of grade level, directly from www.texaskidsfirst.com. In that case, Texas Kids First plans would act as primary insurance for accidental bodily injury.
At-School Accident Plan – This plan covers accidents occurring at school, during school hours. (Excludes participation in High School Varsity Football activities). At-School coverage may be purchased with or without sports.
$30.00 per school year without sports
$90.00 per school year with sports
24-Hour Accident Plan - This plan covers accidents anywhere, around the clock. (Excludes participation in High School Varsity Football activities). 24-Hour coverage may be purchased with or without sports.
$80.00 per school year without sports
$180.00 per school year with sports
You may view or purchase plans online at www.texaskidsfirst.com.
