About Me:
I have lived in Magnolia for the past four years and have lived in Texas my entire life. I was born and raised in League City, where I lived for 14 years. I have one older brother. I am interested in flying planes and watching Formula 1. I am also a member of NHS, SNHS, and Mu Alpha Theta. My favorite hobbies are playing football, swimming, and running.

Plans After High School:
I plan to attend Texas A&M University to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering and pursue a commission in the United States Marine Corps. From there, I would like to become a pilot in the Marine Corps. If that opportunity does not work out, I would like to pursue a career as an Intelligence Officer.
Favorite Part of NJROTC:
My favorite part of NJROTC is seeing the reward of all the hard work we put in throughout the school year. Seeing the reactions on the cadets' faces when we perform at our best is the best part of being in NJROTC.
Advice to New Cadets:
Don't be afraid to try, even if it means failing. Failure is a learning experience. It does not mean the end; it means the beginning of something new.
Plans After High School:
I plan on attending the United States Coast Guard Academy. I want to eventually make a career in the United States Coast Guard, starting off as a Response Officer.
Favorite Part of NJROTC:
My favorite part of NJROTC is the community. I fully believe that NJROTC is one of a small few extra curricular activities in high school where you can meet and train with so many amazing people.
Advice to New Cadets:
Find your group. Self motivation is a great tool, the only tool necessary for a rare few, but for most having a stout set of friends can really help you propel yourself to new heights in NJROTC and in life in general.

Plans after high school:
After high school I plan to do as many college admissions as I can, and then find out which college has the best ROTC available and work my way up to going in as an officer in the Navy. If I’m not able to become an officer my backup plan is to enlist into either the navy or marine corps and either become a mechanic or pilot.
Favorite part about JROTC
My favorite part about ROTC is really just the friends that I’ve made along the way I’ve gone on so many trips probably more than my family. It is just the most helpful thing that I have joined through my high school years. It’s definitely helping me grow as a person and I’ve made lifelong friends along the way.

Plans after high school: After I graduate high school I plan to go to college on an ROTC scholarship to study in the medical field. Once I graduate college I'll commission into the military as an officer and officially begin my career helping and caring for people.
Favorite Part of NJROTC: My favorite parts about NJROTC are the fact that it became like a second family to me. It’s shaped me into a person with goals, grit, and ambtion. I’ve made so many unforgettable memories, learned countless lessons, and made so many friends because of this program and its instructors.
Advice to New Cadets: My advice is to definitely get involved!! It is crucial that you try everything. Stay for practice! Join a team, sign up for community service events, come to military ball. This program can become whatever you want it to be as long as you make some kind of effort and look to make this more than just a PE credit. There’s a lot more to this program than you might expect, so if you’re new, I recommend getting involved and seeing what NJROTC has to offer.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to join the Marines or Navy and serve the country. I want to build more leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and pursue a career in the military.
Favorite Part of NJROTC:
My favorite part of NJROTC has been the friendships I’ve made and the opportunities to grow as a leader. The program has helped me become more confident, disciplined, and prepared for the future.
Advice to New Cadets:
Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone.

About the Cadet
I was born in Layton, Utah, and now I have lived more years in Texas than in Utah. I grew up playing soccer, which I played for about six years before I moved to Utah and quit. While in Utah, I was introduced to ice hockey, and I fell in love. I have been playing since 2020, and this year I have stopped playing to give more time to my staff roles.
I joined NJROTC because of my dad, who was a national-level solo exhibition driller. In my first month, I got into rifle spinning and instantly got hooked. Now I have gotten better and i almost the best rifle spinner in the btallion.

Plans After High School:
I plan to attend Texas A&M after high school, hopefully on an NROTC scholarship, and Commission into the Navy with a degree in Nuclear Engineering. While in the Navy, I plan to be assigned to a nuclear submarine and serve as an active-duty Submarine Warfare Officer. After 20 years, I plan to retire and use my Top Secret clearance from being a nuke and go work in a nuclear power plant.
Favorite Part of NJROTC:
My favorite part of NJROTC is the people and the many friends you make while in it.
Most of my best friends are from NJROTC, and I have met so many amazing people that I would have never met if I wasn't in NJROTC.
Advice to New Cadets:
My advice for new cadets is to give all you can, and it will pay off. The first year will suck, but if you do your all every day and enjoy the suck. Everything will work out in your favor.

Plans after High School: After High School, I want to be accepted to Texas A&M. Get my Aerospace engineering degree. Finally, go into the Marine Corps as a fighter pilot.
Favorite parts about NJROTC: MY favorite parts of ROTC are the teams, the people, and the atmosphere. Raider and PT are my most enjoyable things to do after school.
Advice to new cadets: To the new people, just have fun and listen. MSgt, PO, and Captain are going to feel like family soon.
