Transfers

A parent may request a for transfer to a district campus outside their designated attendance zone. There are three types of transfer requests based on the following reasons:

If you are in the process of purchasing/building a home that you do not yet reside in Magnolia ISD (must move in within 90 days);
You reside within the Magnolia ISD attendance zones but are requesting to attend a different campus than where you are zoned to attend;
If you are an employee and your student is currently on a transfer

Qualifications

If you are in the process of purchasing/building a home that you do not yet reside in Magnolia ISD (must move in within 90 days)
If you are transferring from another district, the following documentation is also needed:
- Withdrawal form from previous school
- Most recent report card from previous school

Scenarios

If you live within the Magnolia ISD zones and are planning to move to another address in Magnolia ISD within 90 days of enrollment, you are considered a transfer.
